Training


We charge a one-time fee on your initial lesson which also covers you and your dog for follow-up visits until you achieve your goals with your dog. We are there for you and will return if new problems arise or old ones resurface. Dogs learn best in a familiar, safe environment free of outside distractions and disruptions.

Our variety of 6-week courses cover a range of options from Basic Good Manners to Agility to the Prep Course for certifying your dog as a Canine Good Citizen. We teach you how to teach your dog in a way that they understand. Our Advanced course is for instructors with at least one year’s experience of teaching classes. How it works After you sign up for a Handler’s Choice Training Session, you will be asked to submit up to 2 skills that you would like to work on with your dog. Skills can be related to manners, tricks, Canine Good Citizen or therapy dog preparation. This is a great opportunity for dogs who are not quite ready for the structure and demands of a typical class format.

The session runs one hour per week for four consecutive weeks and costs $175 for the session. Our positive dog training methods are pain-free, treat-free, and clicker-free. We DO NOT use shock collars, spray collars, or pronged collars. We will teach you a system of communication your dog instinctively knows.

Your dog just needs to be comfortable around other animals, without showing any signs of aggression or anxiety. If your dog doesn’t get this kind of exposure, there’s a chance that they’ll react aggressively when they run into another animal. If you haven't taken any kind of training with us, we strongly urge you to have your dog tested. Even if you haven't gone through training here, you can still take the test, in order to see how well your dog performs. By the end of the course, your dog should be able to excel at many foundational behaviors, even under highly challenging circumstances. Beyond The Basic Training Classes

Certain behaviors such as these are not covered in the manners classes. Even if your puppy may not be exhibiting problems with these behaviors at the moment, chances are you will run into some of them over the course of time. This class will teach you how to prevent them occurring to begin with, and stop them if they start.

Combination of daily boarding at our renowned facilities accompanied with daily training session.
